Scenes in the Gospel of John

Follow the story as John tells it, from the eternal Word to the risen Lord who says, “Follow Me.”

Modern chapter divisions are useful reference tools, but John's narrative unfolds through scenes, conversations, signs, discourses, movements, changing places, festivals, conflict, the Passion, and resurrection appearances. Each scene reveals something about Jesus, draws a response of faith or unbelief, and carries the reader closer to His hour, cross, resurrection, and gift of life.
